Promotion & Sale Conditions

These conditions apply to every promotion, discount code, multi-buy offer and sale price on greetings.ie, alongside our Terms & Conditions. Where an offer shows an asterisk (*), it refers to these conditions. Each offer may also carry its own dates, code or exclusions, which are shown with the offer.

Who is making the offer

All offers are made by Bright Gift Ideas Limited, trading as greetings.ie, and are governed by Irish law.

Offer period

  • Each offer runs for the dates shown with it and closes at 23:59 (Irish time) on the last day.
  • We may end or change an offer early if stock runs out or an error is found. Orders already placed are not affected.

Availability

  • All offers are subject to availability and while stocks last.
  • If an item sells out after you order, we will contact you to offer an alternative or a refund.

How discounts are applied

  • Discounts apply to the card or gift price only. Delivery charges are not discounted unless the offer says so.
  • Promotional prices and codes are applied in your basket before you pay. A discount that is not showing in your basket cannot be applied after the order is placed.
  • Minimum spend, where required, is calculated on the goods total after other discounts and excludes delivery.

Combining offers

  • Offers cannot be used in conjunction with each other. Where more than one offer, discount or sale price could apply to the same item, you receive the one that gives the lower price — not both.
  • One discount code can be used per order, and codes cannot be combined with each other or with another offer unless the code expressly says so.
  • Automatic offers — such as multi-buy prices, “buy more, save more” and range discounts — are applied in your basket and always give you the best single price for each item; they do not stack on top of one another.
  • Gift cards and store credit are a way to pay, not a promotion, and can be used with any offer.

Free and multi-buy items

  • Where an offer includes a free item, the item must be added to your basket to receive it, and the free item is the lowest-priced qualifying item.
  • A free item is free of its product price; personalisation, if any, is still charged unless the offer says otherwise.
  • There is no cash alternative to a free or discounted item.
  • If you return an item that qualified you for a discount or free item, the discount or free item is forfeited and the refund is adjusted accordingly.

Exclusions

  • Unless an offer says otherwise, gift cards, items already reduced in a sale, and selected brands or new launches are excluded. Exclusions are shown with the offer.

Corporate and bespoke orders

  • Corporate and bulk pricing, special corporate discounts and bespoke or custom quotations are priced individually. Promotional offers, discount codes and sale prices cannot be used in conjunction with a corporate discount or a quotation, and a quotation is not eligible for any further offer unless it expressly says so.
  • If you have a corporate account or an open quotation and an offer would give you a better price, contact us before ordering and we will apply whichever is better for you.

Eligibility and fair use

  • Unless stated, an offer may be used once per customer, and is for personal use only, not for resale.
  • Trade and corporate accounts are not eligible for consumer offers unless the offer says otherwise (see Corporate and bespoke orders).
  • We may refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably suspect misuse, fraud or the use of multiple accounts to claim an offer more than once.

Sale prices

  • Where we show a "was" price, it is the lowest price we charged for that item in the 30 days before the reduction began.

Personalised items

  • Promotions do not change our returns policy: personalised items cannot be returned unless faulty. See our Returns Policy.

Errors

  • If an obvious pricing or typing error appears in an offer, we may correct it. We will contact you before dispatch if it affects your order.
